The greatest Gypsy clarinetist I have ever heard is named Erno Kallai Kiss
(sometimes known as Kallai). Incredible technique and improvisation. He had a
solo cd on Hungaroton which is out of print (I don't have it). I have a few
lps somewhere and a tape of a gypsy orchestra he played with in the 60s. He
also plays the Taragato. Unbelievable player.
