Lynn,
Do listen to Klezmer as other people have suggested, especially
Giora Fiedman. But if you want to hear something really different see
if you can find a copy of Tony Scott's CD 'Music for Zen Meditation'.
This is Japanese style improvised music for clarinet, shakuhachi and
koto. Of course, if you only know classical music there are lots of
jazz clarinetists you might enjoy listening to.
