I picked up a Bundy alto clarinet a few years ago. Love the voice, but it's
so delicate going over the break, and when it squeaks it's a real banshee.
I've never tried a "good" one, so I assumed it was just a lame instrument.
You've got me thinking of giving it another go, but then I know I will have
to go through the mouthpiece/reed dance. Based on past frustration, this
could be for naught. What are you using?
