Koch Swann 3-1067-2 'Concerti for Clarinets and Military Band' played by Don
and Cindy Christensen and the Leipzig Radio Wind Band. They play Krommer
(Op. 35), Reissiger and Muller in manuscript arrangements which, although
fashionable in Europe about 1840, are quite unplayable today due to
deficient scoring. Interestingly, the manuscripts originate from Crusell's
military band in Sweden. A much safer proposition today is an updated
arrangement of the Mendelsohn or a modern work such as Concerto for Two
Clarinets and Wind Band, by Keith Amos.
