I hate to sound totally ignorate, but what in the world is this dutch rush
stuff I got about 20 messages about(all from the same person)... Is it a
substitute for sand paper and knives? It is a substitute for a reed???

And can anyone send me(personally) a set of brief instructions of how to
shave the top portion of the reed off with leaving a mess towards the
thicker end?

Last part, would someone recommend a decently sounding(and priced) ligature
for a high school clarinetist that is looking to go pro one day... To give
some information, I play a selmar series 10, with a Vandoren B45dot mouthpiece.
