Re: the Opus clarinet. My wife owns one (an really enjoys it). I've
used her horn in rehearsal and find it lacking. The overall sound is
good, but small. I find it very difficult to be heard in a large
orchestra setting. No so with the R-13. Intonation is great on her
Opus - better overall than most Buffets I've owned. The balance between
registers is also quite good, especially from the clarion across to the
altissimo.

By the way, the plural of Opus is Opera.
