House of Woodwinds in Oakland is good for instruments and mouthpieces
and reeds. Also, Ken there did a good job overhauling a piccolo.

Four Winds Music is San Jose is small, but they do good repair work
(they were trained by Dennis Heaney).

I tend to buy stuff mail order from the Woodwind and Brasswind
in South Bend, Ind.
