Hi connie,
To there is a wealth of material featuring the only section of the
wind ensemble that plays in tune. I can't think of the name, but
there is a huge piece by Berlioz, (and I mean Huge orchestration), I
remember playing while a student at the RNCM. I'm sure somebody out
there knows the name. Again another piece where the name escapes me,
and there's even an alto clarinet solo, is a piece by James Macmilan.
I hope despite being terrible with the Compositional names I am of
some assistance.
