Although the 1940s produced a number of fine players such as Irving
Fazola, Buster Bailey, and others, one of my favorite old-timers was Edmond
Hall, who made numerous recordings with Eddie Condon on the Commodore Label.
My current favorite is Orlando-based Allan Vache, who plays both traditional
Dixieland and Swing styles. His technique and improvization skills are so
prodigious as to make one wonder whether he might not be a reincarnation of
Benny Goodman.

I can't help make your august list of Dixieland players more concise,
but I do recommend those additions.
