The address I have for the listserver is:

listserv%vccscent.bitnet@-----.net

As far as I know, the listserver IS, by definition, a computer! This is so
it can handle the vast volumes of mail and screw up without human
intervention! If you want your problem handled by a real live person, you
have to send a message to the real live people who RUN the list! You'd
send messages to the listserver to get information about and modify your
subsciption (and to find out if it is working or not!).

P.S. I can SEE that you're having problems with your modem: it's replacing
some of the letters in your words with asterisks!
