David,
I don't know about the tonguing at #52, but in my score (Kalmus, but
it can't be a total misprint) at #44 EVERYONE (clarinet, bass clarinet,
bassoons, violas, cellos) has a concert Bb on beat one, so the C, even
though it differs from the original tune, has to be correct. You're
unison with bass clarinet and viola.
