Subject: Ob. Fl. Cl. piece by Tapkoff

On 11/18 Dwreal wrote:

I have been unsuccesfully trying to locate and purchase La Grenoville
Pesouptuese
(Not sure on the spelling there, but the translation is "The Conceited Frog")
By DIMITRI TAPKOFF. It is for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Narrator. (clarinet
doubles on Bass Cl.)

According to my copy of *Woodwind Music Guide: Ensemble Music in Print* 1982
edition, compiled by Himie Voxman and Lyle Merriman (The Instrumentalist Music
Guide Series Vol.2), this work is published by Alphonse Leduc.

The correct title spelling is *Grenouille Presomptueuse*.
The instrumentation is Piccolo, Oboe (English Horn), Clarinet (Bass Clarinet),
and Narrator ad lib.

Unfortunately, I do not know if the work is still in print and have not seen it
recently in music catalogues. I will pass this on to the Klarinet discussion
list
for their imput.

Best wishes!
