Yes, there IS something better you can do with your $1.40! Put it
in an envelope and send it to me!
(Or, you could just reconcile the slamming the reed into the wall as an
entertainment expense and learn to enjoy it!)

A few months ago, someone posted a method entitled "Reed Fixing
with Water" (before that, there was a similar one entitled "Reed Fixing
with Vodka"). I haven't tried it, but the pot gives a method for
adkjusting reeds based on "dividing" the reed into regions and analysing
each one. If you can't find it in The Archives, send me a personal note
and I'll forward a copy to you (I kept them for future reference!)
