Patricia brings up the very important issue of "reed on top". And
Roger suggests that someone stated that Stadler played that way.

It wasn't me. I don't know anything about the mechanics of
Stadler's set up.

I once tried a reed on top technique and I couldn't tongue the
instrument at all. I couldn't do anything. There has to be
more to it than simply turning the mouthpiece upside down.
