I have been using the above-mentioned stand for years with no
problems! I think it is a nifty little gadget! To be safe, I try to
position the stand as close to the pole of my music stand as possible -
this helps prevent accidental knockovers, as people who might not notice a
clarinet standing in the middle of the floor will generally notice a music
stand and (hopefully) avoid walking into it!
