There is an English jazz musician, George Haslam, who plays one of
these. It is certainly capable of more than Transylvanian folk songs.
I thought they came from Hungary, but maybe Transylvania is part of
Hungary. My Eastern European geography is a bit shaky.

I think the price Lark in the Morning have is $4000. You would have to be prett
y serious about the Tarogato to pay that sort of price. I am currently working
in Vienna, Austria which I do know is right next door to Hungary so maybe they a
re available cheaper here. I'll try to find out.
