Someone asked about the cost of the new "Vintage". I got the following from
Mr. Muncy....I don't think he'd mind. Note the only B-flats are currently
available.

A's are not yet available. The R13 Vintage clarinets are now available for
immediate delivery. We are doing a Muncy/Vintage tour allowing interested
people to try these wonderful instruments. We will be touring North Carolina
Nov. 10-12th, Virginia Nov. 21-23, Chicago Dec. 18-21, Florida Jan. 9-11 Los
Angeles 16-18th, Texas Feb. 13-15th and other places are being added daily.

New Buffet R13 Vintage Model
Made to the exact specifications of the 1950's Buffet R13 model that was
responsible for converting over 90% of the world's clarinet players to
Buffet... the original "Buffet" sound.

Characterized by a tighter bore with more severe reverse taper in the upper
joint. It produces a very dark tone quality with increased resistance to the
air column. Ideal for those players who need to produce a large volume of
sound.

Specifications of the R13 Vintage Clarinet

The basis for the R13 Vintage Clarinet is an R13 with a tightened bore and a
reduced entry cone. The specifications are as follows:

The 12th key positioning is 1mm higher.
A and Ab holes are cylindrical.
The thumb F# key is larger.
D/A holes are 1mm lower.
The bell is 1mm longer.
No metal rings on tenons.
Natural unstained AAA wood.
Adjustable thumb rest.
Silver plated key work (gold plating by request only).
Vintage label engraved on the upper joint.
2 barrels, 1 cylindrical and 1 Vintage R.L. bore.
Calfskin leather , double pochette case.
