I just got this info from Buffet for those of you interested, and to that
person that I emailed to get info, please ignore that request!

The basis for the Vintage clarinet is an R-13 with a tightened bore and a
reduced entry cone. The specifications are as follows as compared to and
R-13:

--The 12th key positioning is 1mm higher
--A and Ab holes are cylindrical
--The thumb F# key is larger
--D/A holes are 1mm lower
--The bell is 1mm longer
--No metal ring on tenons
--Unstained Grenadilla wood
--adjustable thumb rest
--Silver plated keywork (gold plated upon request)
--Vintage label engraved on upper joint
--2 barrels enclosed (1 cylindrical, 1 Vintage R.L Bore---a barrel specific
to the Vintage)
--Comes in a cowhide leather double pochette case

The Vintage is essentially a replica of the very popular original R-13
manufactured in the 1950's. The response to them has been very good.

Best Regards

Musically
yours,

Patrick
Kwan
