Many many thanks to all you wonderful people out there on the list
who replied to my request for information Re: Teeth cushions.

Unfortunately I was unexpectedly hospitalized for a while and have
only just got around to reading all my messages.

I appreciate the time that everyone took in replying to me with so
many varied solutions...I was contacted by a company offering to
supply me with some 'Lip Savers' for the cost of the product and the
postage so I am going to take that route.
