Clarinetists -

Many of you have requested more detailed information on the new Buffet Vintage
clarinet. The NEW R-13 Vintage Clarinet as specified by Boosey & Hawkes/Buffet
is as follows:

The basis for the R-13 Vintage Clarinet is an R-13 with a tighened bore and a
reduced entry cone. The Vintage clarinet model number is 1131V-2. The Vintage
clarinet will come standard with two barrels, one conical and the other
cylindrical. The clarinet is manufactured using natural unstained wood. The
features of the Vintage include adjustable thumb rest, no tenon caps, silver
plated keys, and double skin pads. The Vintage clarinet will come in a double,
leather pouchette case with silk plush interior. The case number will be
722/B/SP/L. The specifications are as follows:

- The 12th key positioning is 1mm higher
- A & Ab holes are cylindrical
- The thumb F# key is larger
- D/A holes are 1mm lower
- The bell is 1mm longer
- No metal rings on the tenons
- Unstained wood
- Adjustable thumbrest
- Silver plated keyworkd (gold plating by request)
- Vintage lable engraved on the upper joint
- 2 barrels, 1 cylindrical and 1 Vintagel R.L. bore
- Calfskin leather, double pochette case
