Subj: Harrison ligatures
Date: Tue, 5 Nov 1996 02:09:46 -0500

Hi, I'm not really new to this list, I've been lurking in the shadows for
the past year or so, but anyway...That's my intro. My question is that my
beloved Harrison inverted ligature snapped at the bottom of the X. This is
the second one that has snapped on me, and both snapped in the exact same
places. Right now, I'm thinking kinda strange. Is this normal and to be
expected? Once someone mentioned to me that Harrison makes some sort of
provisions for their ligatures that snapped if they snapped within a
certain time period after purchase. Is this really true, or just a crock?
Any and all info and suggestions greatly appreciated.
Are there any other ligatures on the market that are similar to the
Harrisons? In case you're wondering, I'm playing on an R13 w/a Johnston
mp.

Thanks,
Jeff

Last night as I lay in bed looking at the stars I asked myself,
"Where the h*ll is my roof?"
