Frank,

Please don't take offense. I said it SOUNDS like hocus pocus. I
didn't say it is. I would like to know from a physics perspective how the
freezing process affects the non ferrous metal. My question still stands:
What is meant by "aligning the molecules?" The instrument may indeed FEEL
different to the player. I've not HEARD any difference.

I was not passing judgment on a process about which I know
virtually nothing. So far no one has given me any physical proof or method
for that matter.
