I just got my woodwind/brasswind catalog yesterday and noticed that they
too are now carrying the Zonda reeds. If memory serves me correctly,
they were about $17 for 5 reeds.

Many thanks to all who provided phone numbers to order cheaper reeds. I
had also bought some La Voz? reeds because of my unhappiness with the
Vandorens, so I actually spent about $45 on reeds and found that *2* of
them were playable. I subsequently found that Zonda reeds were being
stocked by special order and was able to purchase a box ($17 for 5) I got
one reed out and put it on and, much to my incredible shock, it played
almost perfectly-----the best reed I have played in a year!!!!! I was so
excited, I wanted to play all night!!!!! I'm afraid to play another, for
fear it will be a fluke. From reading what you all have written, I'm
hoping this won't be the case. Anyway-----
To the Zonda makers-----thank you thank you thank you thank you
