Everett Matson of Long Island, a notable mouthpiece specialist, says that
warpage can come from any simple contact with the rails or the tip of the
mouthpiece, such as a swipe that you make across the rails with your
finger every time you take a reed off. It seems like rocket science when
you think of these minute details, but that's what the man says!

Try Mitchell Lurie Premium mouthpieces. I like them, and so do most of my
students. Nice response and clarity, and a 3 1/2 or 4 Vandoren is nice
with it.
