Rick,

Please don't misunderstand me, I don't believe you have to find "a
professional niche" in music to be a musician. I merely mean, as I stated
in a previous post, music is a calling. You don't have to be paid as a
"professional" to be a musician. It is the desire to make music that makes
a musician a musician. When music becomes as much a part of you as your
right arm (or left) then I believe you are a musician. That's my .02.
