I've played the Uhl, and it really is quite good. Even the second and
auxiliary parts are excellent. Something else to look into, if it can be
found, is a transcription for clarinet quartet of Borodin's String
Quartet No. 2. It was absolutely wonderful.

Don't forget the Klarinet Kwartet by Tristan Keuris (published by Donemus in
Amsterdam): wonderful piece. You have to work on it, but eventually you've got
a piece wich is satisfying for the four of ya' and nice in a program with Uhl
and other trancriptions! I've played it many, many times, years ago!
