I have divided it up by topics, such as History, Reeds, Recordings, etc.

One of the best starting places, though, is the article in the New Grove's
Dictionary of Music and Musicians. Just go right to "Clarinet". It is a
nice overview, with some good pictures as well. It is well written, IMHO,
by Nicholas Shackelton.
