Dear Mr. Spring,

Thanks for the advice...you have to understand that I have
recently moved to this area, and the places/people from which
I have attempted to get information have been very discouraging,
until getting on this list. I was so immersed in the culture
of the area I had lived for 25 years, that it was quite a shock
to be uprooted to a new area, and having difficulty in locating
the same activities that I had previously been involved in...
I probably should have reworded "devoid of culture" to "I am
having difficulty in locating cultural activities and events"...

I am sorry if you took offense, because no ill-intent was meant.
I am sure there are people who believe my home-town area is
devoid of culture, since they do not know where to look.
