I assure you, Frances, that your adolescent mind is playing horny little
tricks on you. No innuendo was intended at all.

What does "tut" mean?

Karl Leister was the principal clarinetist of the Berlin Philharmonic
Orchestra for approximately 30 years and is considered by many to be the
greatest symphonic clarinetist who ever lived. He retired from the
orchestra a couple of years ago. The degree of smoothness, subtlety, and
ease with which he plays is beyond the ability of many professional
players. If you ever get a chance, obtain one of his concerto recordings
(such as the Spohr concertos or the Crussell concertos)...and prepare to
be amazed. There's nothing he can't play, and his playing is as close to
perfection as anybody can possibly get. I suspect that the reason he
makes everything sound so completely effortless is that, for him, it
actually *is*.
