Dear List members,

I have played clarinet for 15 years, throughout high-school
and college, and was even lucky enough to be judged by the
principal clarinetist of the Cleveland Orchestra a few years
back...However, I had to drop my musica major in college,
since the music major/instructors/atmosphere was unbearable,
and I couldn't sense a very stable future playing clarinet.
I have since been through graduate school, and have not played
for a couple of years and miss it dearly....

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of the best way to
become at least a semi-active player again? Of course, I need
to purchase a new instrument...I think mine has termites...ha...
I live in the Phoenix area, which I recently moved to, which
seems to be devoid of culture....I am not sure where to find a
suitable group to play in....

If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks...you can respond to either the list, or my email at
mmitch@-----.
