Truthfully, buying Tom Ridenour's book has saved me a lot of time and
effort in learning new pieces. In addition to having alternate
fingerings he also gives examples of where they would be most useful
right down to the measure number. He also states which fingerings maybe
flat ot sharp, which I understand may not be useful to some since all
clarinets are different, but I like it that I know aleast a little about
the tendencies of a particular note. It's definately worth $12 , even
though I paid about $20.
