As with Stalder: he playes Buffet, very heavy reeds but the tip is made very
thin. B45 Vandoren mp.Sortof german sound. He once made a recording with duets
with karl leister! (I lost the CD--I was so kind to "give" it to a friend, and
never got the CD back :-(
Brunner is on Buffet also (recordings on Orfeo label).
Here in Holland there's one teacher who studied with Stalder and who has a lot
of students. This teacher, Mr Rinus Hintzbergen made a very nice recording of
the Crusell Quartets (Erasmus recordings) with vry nice string players (from
the Concertgebouw).
