Kell's performance of the Brahms Trio with Louis Kentner (piano) and Anthony
Plini (cello), recorded 1941, is reissued on Testament SBT 1002. I was even
more impressed by his performance of the Brahms Quintet with the Busch
Quartet on Testament SBT 1001. It is a legendary performance recorded in
1937 and beautifully restored on CD.
