I must concur with Maestro Leeson and others; while I'm sure exceptions
exist, I can recall hearing some Italian players at a competition, and
the fingers were INCREDIBLE but there didn't seem to be much attempt to
project an overall interpretation of what they were playing. Must be nice
to be able to approach the technique of a Neilsen concerto with ease, though!
