This summer I had an opportunity to hear an Italian Octet, "Ottetto Classico
Italiano" in Switzerland. I was quite impressed by both clarinet players,
Sergio Del Mastro and Maurizio Longoni.

After the concert, which included the KV 361, I was talking to Del Mastro,
and even he, who is a teacher in Milano, agreed that Conservatories in Italy
are not a good place to study clarinet.
