I apologize for using the expertise of the list for something which is not
related to the clarinet. Does any of you know about a software for teaching
counterpoint to music students? In theory this should be feasible, but I do
knot know if it exists.
To add something to this message related to the subject of the list: I
recently made with Finale (a software for music notation) a basset horn
version of the arrangement of the Schubert Arpeggione made before for A
clarinet by Jack Brymer. It is fun to play, and matches the range of the
instrument better than the A clarinet. If anyone on the list is interested,
I can make a copy of the part and send it.
Best wishes to all Franck
