Subj: click barrel question
Date: Thu, 17 Oct 1996 11:08:26 -0400

I can understand changing length by 1mm (65, 66, 67mm) from
the standard, but if you go farther than that, isn't their possibly
a bigger problem at hand like maybe embouchure or mouthpiece? It has
been said on here that 90% (or something like that) of problem of playing
is behind the mouthpiece and it isn't the equipment. Is the click
barrel a nice band-aid for a phisically adjustible problem? Mouthpieces
are made with the 66mm barrel in mind because that is kind of the
standard. (somebody correct me if I'm wrong on this) Is the click
barrel a solution or a scapegoat?
