Michael Moors was right! The Click Barrel really does a great job,
especially with my students!

Last week I ordered a barrel from Musical Innovations (thanks for the
number) and they mailed it out that day. I even had it in time for our
football game this weekend.

I tried the barrel myself, and saw how easy it was to tune. Now, when I
play, I just click up 4 times, from fully closed, to 65mm in order to be
in tune. It sounds better on my Buffet than my original Buffet barrel!

I'm glad that the sales rep, I spoke with, mentioned that I should not be
worried if the barrel closes or opens when putting on or taking off my
mouthpiece. He said that the barrel is designed to stand up to the wear
and tear of students. He doesn't know my students! They can find a way
to break anything!

The big test was for my clarinet students! We have 15 in our band and
the only one in tune, during warmups for the game, was the student using
the Click. Unfortunately, I had to still tune the rest of the band to
the clarinet section.

So now, I'm looking through my budget to find a spot to stick in 14 more
barrels for the rest of our section. I can't wait until we can tune the
clarinets to the rest of the band. Imagine that, a marching band tuned a
little bright!

Thanks for everyone's comments. They've helped a lot!
