Bernhard Heiden is alive and well. He taught composition at Indiana
University starting in 1946...he's emeriti now (about 20 years). He was
born in Frankfurt in 1910. He has quite and output: Horn sonata, Alto Sax.
sonata, Violin sonata Concerto for small orchestra, quintet for horn
and string quartet, a film score, cello concerto, Horn concerto and much more.
