On the subject of Vandoren visits in Paris, I remembered and anecdote
that Pamela Weston recounts in the chapter on Stanley Drucher in one of
her books. Mr Drucker is said to have visited the Vandoren shop rue
Lepic in Paris and asked to see the person who put the one good reed in
each box. Evidently they were not amused...
