I did the first recording of this work in 1991. It is on the Summit label,
DCD 124. The liner notes explain a lot about the piece. I suggest
listening to the old tune, "Harbor Lights" so you can hear the references
to the tune in the piece. It is one of my favorite pieces for clarinet and
piano by a composer "still above ground". Best of luck working on it.
