Hi Vicki-
I thought I would be able to find some really useful stuff for you at the
Canadian Music Centre's website, <http://www.culturenet.ca/cmc/> but they
don't have info on composers as far as I could tell. (They do have a search
engine that will find music and recordings by composer, instrument, or
whatever, and you can borrow or buy music from them.)
I also found the League of Canadian Composers at
<http://www.epas.utoronto.ca:8080/~composer>, but they have info _for_
composers, not _about_ them. You can email the LCC at:
<composer@-----.ca>, maybe someone there has what you're looking
for.
Lori Freedman (Harry's daughter) is a clarinettist (fantastic bass player)
and would obviously know all about Lines, but I don't know where she is at
the moment. Last I knew she lived in Vancouver, the Union could probably
give you her address and/or phone - (604) 737-1110.
Another really good person to contact would be James Campbell - he's
Canadian, knows Freedman, has played Lines (and lots of other Canadian
music), teaches at IU (Indiana University, Bloomington), and is a really
nice person. You could contact him through IU, or email me privately for
his address/phone.

Good luck, have fun, etc...
