organizations? Which one publishes The Clarinet journal?"
The ICS (International Clarinet Society) was formed in 1973. In 1988 the ICS
merged with another clarinet organization called ClariNetworkInternational
becoming ICS/CNI. After a period of a few years the name was thought to be too
cumbersome. In 1992 the merged organization(s) became ICA (International
Clarinet
Association).
The Clarinet was and is the official journal of the ICS, ICS/CNI, and ICA. In
1998 our organization will celebrate 25 years of existence and The Clarinet will
publish its 100th issue.
