Just a silly comment, but I find that a single-lip embouchure helps clear my
often stuffy sinuses since the vibrations go up from my teeth into my
sinuses. The first few minutes of playing generates a rash of nose-blowing
and coughing as the stuff loosens, then it feels marvelous! I tried a double
lip for a while and still sometimes use it in legato, but I really like the
sinus relief I get from single lip!
