I'm interested in the opinions of my fellow Klarinet subscribers regarding
the double lip embouchure on clarinet.

I adopted it more than 20 years ago in emulation of Buddy Wright and Kal
Opperman, but lately I'm reluctantly considering going back to single lip.
On the one hand, I've done my best playing this way, and *if it ain't broke
don't fix it*. On the other
hand, I'm finding it difficult to maintain (especially with a saxophone
double), and it's difficult to play standing.

So tell me what you think of double lip:Who plays it and why? Who hates it
and why?

Thanks in advance,

Rob Breen
