My doctoral treatise was on this subject and is available at University
Microfilms in Ann Arbor: AN OVERVIEW OF THE ORIGINAL CLARINET CONCERTOS WITH=
=20
AND OR CHAMBER ENSEMBLE WRITTEN BY AMERICAN COMPOSERS BETWEEN 1978 AND 1987,
by David McClune (Florida State U.) paper number (University Microfilms
#AAG9112107). This treatise discussed in detail the 20 concertos written
between 1978-1987. =20
At the present time I am working on a huge project, reviewing thirty
new concertos composed in the past ten years! Many of you read my request
for new literature back in early May. Well, we in the clarinet world have a
gold mine of new literature to play. =20

For the purpose of finishing my current research and preparing proposals for
convention presentations I am chosing to hold back the current list, but
below is a list from my original treatise of the works between 1978 and=
1987.
