This list is great. Thanks for mentioning Meridain winds. I had just
ordered a Rossi
from Woodwind/Brasswind after reading about them on Klarinet. There was
a several month
wait from Woodwind/Brasswind. After seeing your post I called Meridian.
They still had the
Rossi, a cocobolo Bb, in stock. I've had it on approval for a week and
plan to buy. It
is a beautiful horn, great response and intonation. Eric Satterlee,
Meridian's general
manager, said that the horn was one Rossi had used in his US recitals
and masterclasses
earlier this year. BTW, I'm using Greg Smith mouthpieces and Zonda
reeds, both of which I
first heard recommended on this group.
