Hi Rafe,

If that is a true Selmer sax and not a Selmer Bundy which is a student
horn that is a great price. I recently sold an almost forty year old
Selmer alto for my teacher for over $2,000. This URL
"http://www.cris.com/~Bbbean/dater.html" will sive you a list of all
selmer models and serial number ranges so you can figure out how old it
is. Again if this is a selmer of one of the models listed on the dater
page and it's $500.00 you may have found yourself the buy of the century.
