The works already mentioned by Joan Tower and Shulamit Ran are good pieces.
You might also check out "La naissance d'un papillon" by Yvonne Desporte
(Billaudot, 1977) and "Dancing Solo" (Oxford Unuv. Press, 1994) by Libby
Larsen.
My DMA project is unaccompanied clarinet music by women composers. If my list
were complete I would be happy to give you a copy. There is an older list you
might check out in The Clarinet (Vol. 8, No. 2, Winter, 1981, P. 13) by Dr.
Elsa Ludewig-Verdehr.
