I was out at Gilbert's at the end of the summer trying out those C
clarinets. I don't know the price off hand, except that they are not going
to cost too much. There is still about four or five that are not spoken for
(as of a couple of weeks ago). I personally am going to purchase one. They
are all Noblets and Normandys and they are of varying condition. Some are
ingreat shape and some are, well, not. They all, however are good horns.
They may not be as good as the new Buffet C's, but they also don't cost 3
or 4 grand. Any of them are probably good enough to play in a professional
setting. If people have questions and are serious about one of these horns,
feel free to e-mail me.
